TRAFFIC LIGHTS |
My Crouse Hinds 4-way. I was fortunate to get this signal in this condition. It came with the chinese arrow and all but one smiley. I have since removed one set of smileys and replaced them with command lenses. See it change here. See it flash here.
I just bought this signal on Ebay. I have no idea why the horn is mounted on top other that the seller said it came from a railroad. Sometimes horns were used on track scale signals.
I am planning to install "WAIT" and "WALK" lenses in this signal If I am able to obtain the "WAIT" lens. I have already got the "WALK" lens. 1/21/04 WAIT lens arrived. Thanks Jerry!!!!
I just bought this from one of the members of the Signalfan Club. Im really happy with it since I bought it sight unseen. Should I paint it green, leave it as is or paint it school bus yellow?
New 2-10-04
I just bought this signal off Ebay. I saw this same signal in an antique store in Pottsville, PA. last summer and to my dismay it was sold. I had no idea where the signal went other than it was spotted by a friend of mine on a front porch in Tamaqua,PA back in December. I had planned to inquire about the signal and another friend advised me that the signal was up for auction on Ebay. Well I bid on it at the last minute and won it. This is probably the oldest signal I have now and Im looking forward to its restoration.
Finished Restoration on August 6, 2005
This is my first traffic signal. I could not stand the tunnel visors so I removed them and hope to replace them with cutaway visors when I can get them.
I got this signal from a friend at the local traffic light maintenance company in exchange for a railroad dwarf signal. It came from a local intersection.
A rare one with bar lenses.

Just added this one to the collection in January 2005. A nice piece, glass lenses and reflectors. I have it connected to my EF-20 Controller.
This controller was added to the collection in June of 2005. It is in very good condition and just needed a little dusting off. It appears that it was painted green originally so I may paint it green when it is restored.
