The model H-5 signal I have here came from the Reading Railroad at Saucon Yard near Bethlehem, Pa. It was removed from service and scrapped and I managed to save it. I ran many trains past this signal when I was a locomotive engineer for Conrail so it has some sentimental value to me.
The model H-5 signal was introduced in 1937 and first used at Elizabethport New Jersey on the Central Railroad of New Jersey. This model signal was widely used throughout the US.
